Description

DESKTOP-N9MIFGD appears twice in the database with different UUIDs. This may have happened before authentication was implemented.

Evidence

From server logs:

Restored offline machine: DESKTOP-N9MIFGD (62feaeb4-42b6-47a9-8d2c-a4629a50e053)
Restored offline machine: DESKTOP-N9MIFGD (99432392-c89c-4f11-8547-fa38527c75ab)

Tasks

  1. Identify which UUID is the correct/active one
  2. Delete duplicate entries from database
  3. Consider adding unique constraint on agent_id or hostname
  4. Review how duplicates were created to prevent recurrence

Tables affected

  • machines
  • sessions (foreign key to machines)
  • events (foreign key to sessions)
