Routine Sync — GURU-KALI

User

  • User: Mike Swanson (mike)
  • Machine: GURU-KALI
  • Role: admin

Session Summary

Routine repo sync session on GURU-KALI. No substantive work performed beyond bringing the local clone current with origin. Three /sync invocations across the session: the first found the repo already in sync, the second pulled 32 commits from team activity earlier in the day, and the third confirmed sync state. No code changes, no deploys, no client work, no agent delegation — purely a state-refresh session to catch this workstation up.

The 32-commit pull included Mike's work (SPEC-015 Safe Mode registration, SPEC-016 VSS shadow copy management and sync frequency, GuruRMM submodule advances, Mac agent install scripts, syncro skill test-prefix requirement) and Howard's work (SPEC-012 sortable table headers, SPEC-013 file browser, SPEC-014 Windows event log viewer, ICMP ping fallback in discovery, discovery scan timeout fix, Agents sidebar nav link, Cascades billing batch). Two new memory entries (feedback_howard_delegation, feedback_syncro_content_type) and two new install scripts (install-mac.sh, install-scileppi.sh) also landed.

Global commands rmm.md and syncro.md were refreshed into ~/.claude/commands/ automatically by sync.sh.

Key Decisions

  • No work delegated to agents — session scope was purely repo state refresh, below the delegation threshold.
  • Namespaced this log as 2026-05-28-mike-guru-kali-sync.md rather than appending to 2026-05-28-session.md (494 lines, written by a different machine) to keep the GURU-KALI sync activity independently searchable without polluting the primary log.

Problems Encountered

None. The auto-commit of the submodule pointer on the second /sync was already upstream and was correctly dropped during rebase — expected behavior, not an issue.

Configuration Changes

None made in this session. Sync delivered config updates from origin:

  • .claude/commands/syncro.md — updated (test article subject prefix requirement)
  • .claude/memory/MEMORY.md — index updated for two new feedback entries
  • .claude/memory/feedback_howard_delegation.md — new
  • .claude/memory/feedback_syncro_content_type.md — new
  • ~/.claude/commands/rmm.md, ~/.claude/commands/syncro.md — refreshed by sync.sh phase 5b

Credentials & Secrets

None created or discovered in this session.

Infrastructure & Servers

None touched.

Commands & Outputs

bash .claude/scripts/sync.sh
# First run: already in sync
# Second run: pulled 32 commits, dropped own auto-commit on rebase (already upstream)
# Third run: already in sync

Pending / Incomplete Tasks

None opened or carried forward in this session.
